Forsberg returns for Sweden tonight - live feed

posted by AB71 at , Thursday, 5 November 2009

Former NHL MVP Peter Forsberg is making a comeback with the Sweden national team for the Karjala Cup.

There's no doubt he is one of the most dynamic and exciting players of all time. If injuries hadn't plagued his career he would most certainly have been among the top scorers.

Forsberg has undergone more surgeries this summer on his troublesome foot, and is using this tournament as a 'tester' to see if he is NHL ready, and also able to play for Sweden in the Vancouver 2010 olympics in February.

You can watch the game at

You may well need your swedish phrase book though!

Lets hope he is finally healed and can return to the NHL soon (preferably the Av's!)

ENL player to write on the RecHockey Blog!

RecHockey are pleased to announce another Blogger to our ranks.

We have Chelmsford Chieftains rising star center, Blaho Novak joining us.

He will be blogging about his experiences as 16 year old center playing ENL Hockey. The training needed to compete at this level as well as an insight into the games from a Players perspective.

The Slovakian Center has been playing in the junior development system at chelmsford for the past few years, winning countless player awards.

As a young player he has one goal, to keep improving his game so he can play at the highest level possible.

For all of us Rec players it should make for an interesting read!
